Melillo Consulting one of the area’s largest HP Software Platinum Partners, was recognized as the 2009 Implementation Partner of the Year – Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) for excellence in successfully implementing HP PPM Center on HP SaaS.  Melillo Consulting is the first HP Partner to deploy HP PPM Center on HP’s PPM Software-as-a-Service offering.

Melillo Consulting provided implementation services in partnership with HP SaaS for HP Project and Portfolio Management Center (PPM).  The client purchased all modules of PPM for HP SaaS.  They chose the HP SaaS model for the robust platform support offered by the SaaS model and a lower total cost of ownership, and selected Melillo Consulting after Melillo completed a successful proof-of-concept that validated the business value obtained by deploying the HP PPM Center solution.

The client was able to replace its aging, inadequate time and project management system with robust, state-of-the-art project and portfolio management software that enhanced the company’s ability to manage resources, time, projects and the IT portfolio and supported IT financial management needs. The implementation established baseline core functionality enabling the client to establish the foundation for continuing elaboration of the system to global business units. 

The implementation also allows the client to continue to grow its business information systems, with future planned integrations between HP PPM and Quality Center via HP’s Center Management for Quality Center solution, IT Financial Management, HP Asset Center and other HP software products.
