Who we are

SQS Egypt S.A.E. is a fully owned subsidiary of SQS Software Quality Systems AG, Cologne, Germany. It was established in 2008, after signing a Memorandum of Understanding with ITIDA (IT Industry Development Agency).

SQS Egypt’s Head Office is located in Cairo – Maadi, hosting 120 highly qualified test experts and planning to grow reaching a total number of 400. All of them are certified according to ISTQB standards (International Software Testing Qualification Board). Since establishing the company, our test specialists have contributed to more than 25 projects, altering between various business domains including Telecom, Banking, Insurance, Embedded Systems and Avionics. We are very much proud to be the quality partners of many market leaders in the different business sectors such as Vodafone Egypt, Swisscom, Daimler and Nespresso. The company operates as an offshore centre for quality management and software testing activities. One of its benefits is the multi lingual diversity, where the service is delivered in German, English and/or French.

SQS Egypt S.A.E is part of the SQS Group – the world's leading specialist for software quality. With more than 5,000 completed projects under its belt, SQS has a strong customer base, including half of the DAX 30 companies, almost one third of the STOXX-50 companies and 20 FTSE-100-companies. Among the clients, there are names like Allianz, Beazley, BP, Centrica, Daimler, Deutsche Post, Generali, JP Morgan, Meteor, Reuters and Volkswagen.

Founded in Cologne, Germany, in 1982, SQS has about 2,000 employees across Europe, Asia, North America and in Africa. SQS has a strong presence in Germany and the UK and offices in Austria, Egypt, Finland, France, India, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States. Furthermore, SQS has a minor stake in an operation in Portugal and a partnership operation in Spain. In 2009, the group achieved revenues of € 134.3 million. SQS is listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM) and has a second listing on the Open Market on Deutsche Börse, Frankfurt.
