The SQS training motto ”From Practice, For Practice” means that all our trainers come from the field of software testing or quality management and have been working as consultants for many years already. All SQS trainers are certified and accredited. In addition, they themselves continuously take part in further training measures and are sought-after speakers at global technical conferences. This expertise sets our trainers apart and is reflected in our courses.

Keith Yorkston: Principal Instructor

Keith specialises in training advanced level courses such as ISEB Practitioner and ISTQB® Advanced as well as a wide range of other courses including HP tools training, test estimation and SAP® testing. Keith has extensive project experience and an astounding array of project stories and anecdotes which add gravitas and colour to any course you will attend!

Joe Elledge: Senior Instructor

Since joining SQS, Joe has successfully managed a number of automated testing projects across multiple platforms and technologies, within the finance, insurance, banking, retailing, software development, and healthcare sector. Joe has used his wide experience to help SQS develop industry-leading training courses which he now continuously delivers. He is also regularly engaged by clients to assist in the development of bespoke training programmes. Joe is a TAP accredited instructor and focuses primarily on SQS’s ISEB and ISTQB® certification courses, User Acceptance Testing, Requirements Engineering and Testing and Test Management.

Allan Tong: Principal Instructor

Allan has an unrivalled depth of experience in testing and development complemented with a solid foundation in software quality assurance processes. He has been involved in various phases of the software development life cycle and has specific business experience in the financial, insurance and telecommunications sectors across most technology stacks including SAP, Oracle and Microsoft. Allan specialises in the development and delivery of training in the test automation and developer testing space, notably HP Quality Center and QuickTest Professional, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and our hands-on Test Automation course series.

John Kurowski: Senior Instructor

John is an experienced trainer and test lead with significant knowledge and experience in all aspects of design, implementation and maintenance of large software systems. John is an excellent communicator with people at all levels. He is a versatile, extremely quick learner with strong problem solving skills. John delivers courses at Foundation, Intermediate, Practitioner and Advanced levels as well as tools training for HP Quality Center and QuickTest Professional. He holds the HP Certified Instructor qualification and is TAP accredited.
