What I do
I work as a resources manager for the SQS south region. I maintain contacts with consultants around the region from my office in Munich and coordinate their work. My main duty is therefore to ensure that our client projects receive support from the right SQS specialists. To do this, I need to have a good
knowledge of our employees’ qualifications and experience, as well as the client’s individual requirements. I also use a special programme to gradually involve new SQS employees in our projects. In addition, I conduct all employee appraisals in our SQS region, discussing, for example, agreed targets and salary increases.
What I value
Throughout all these tasks I benefit from the excellent communication culture at SQS and the short decision-making routes. As I am also still actively involved in projects, my proximity to the clients is guaranteed.
What the future holds
Based on the longstanding experience of SQS and our employees’ expertise in the field of software testing and quality management, I am convinced that our company will continue to overcome whatever challenges the future may bring. For me, the way that SQS continually strives to change and keep ahead of the competition is a real success factor.
