Rudolf van Megen Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Rudolf van Megen (born in 1954) founded SQS in Cologne in 1982 with Heinz Bons. Within the Management Board he is responsible for strategy, marketing and the management of the Group Management Board; the marketing responsibility includes the responsibility for definition of services, markets, price positioning and sales channels and furthermore the defining and maintaining of the company image. His main interest today is the market oriented, sustainable and further strategic development of the SQS Group.

Since the foundation of SQS almost 30 years ago, he has made SQS the global market leader in independent testing and quality management. Before founding SQS, Rudolf has worked in many different areas of Software Testing and Quality Management as well as in research projects. He is Economic Ambassador of the City of Cologne, Board Member of the Council of Media and IT for the City of Cologne, a member of the Assembly of Cologne Chamber of Commerce, and head of the ICT Committee of Cologne Chamber of Commerce.

René Gawron Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

René Gawron (born in 1961) joined SQS as CFO in 2001. Within the Management Board he is in charge of finance, mergers and acquisitions, human resources and investor relations as well as administration and accounting. Apart from increasing profitability René focuses on human resource development as well as talent management.

Before joining SQS he held various positions at Siemens AG between 1985 and 2000, including, among others, head of business development for its mobile telecom networks. In addition he was member of the management board of a software company as well as an electronics company.

Diederik Vos Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Diederik (Dik) Vos (born in 1964) was appointed to the SQS Management Board in March 2011 and is responsible for the company's sales & services as well as IT and operational business worldwide. He focuses on driving forward company growth and improving the operational excellence of the global SQS Group.

He has considerable expertise in the field of Managed Services, IT Services and Management Consulting. As an internationally experienced manager he demonstrated an ability to drive change within organizations, developing them into profitable companies while increasing customer satisfaction. He previously held senior management positions in AT&T, Lucent Technologies, AVAYA and International Network Services.
