Test Case Specification
Quality improvement with high quality test cases
In addition to meeting deadlines quality improvement and cost reduction are central aspects in the development of applications today. The execution of a large number of tests alone, however, does not guarantee quality. With the successful SQS method for systematic test preparation you reach a high degree of test coverage with an omptimized number of test cases. This reduces cost and effort during the subsequent test execution.
The application Test Case Specification (TCS) supports this approach.
-
Generating combinations automatically and reducing them systematically
The systematic approach is based on equivalence partitioning and decision table testing. All combinations of the equivalence classes are formed automatically. In accordance with specific rules the combinations can easily be merged. This approach reduces the number of test cases resulting from the combinations. This is how TCS provides an optimized result regarding the number of generated test cases.

Making test cases available in SQS Test Center
The generated test cases are supplied in the SQS Test Center, added with data, assembled to business process test cases and used for the documentation of the requirement coverage.
