Background: I have had a very exciting and diverse career in the world of IT. It started with Cobol programming after graduation, and expanded to working in the both the USA and the UK - initially in development roles but this changed quickly to IT roles with the business domain. Returning to SA and joining Cresta (which was then bought by SQS) was one of my great decisions. Being able to leverage my global experience while working on a country that is vibrant, di-verse and full of emerging culture and energy is such a good opportunity. After nearly 10 years at SQS, I left for a while to explore a number of different opportunities, gaining different experience and then realizing that I still had green blood and needed to return to the SQS family. With SQS SA starting to see some exciting growth and a move to Man-agement consultancy, I am keeping myself busy by manag-ing the Jhb office while keeping an eye on how to continue expanding into different avenues – building quality early
